I wasn’t even born. I was not even alive to witness this horrific event on September 11th 2001. So many people lost their lives saving, helping of just trying to get out of the 2 towers. 2,977 people died in total on each event that happened on that day. I am a Canadian and proud, but today I am standing with all My American friends today on this anniversary on 9/11 9/11Attachment 48424

A truly horrific day in our history. I lost several friends that faithful day. Let us never forget those who perished and those who went into that hell to save as many as they could. May God send his strength to those who lost love ones and send his healing power to those who are now suffering the physical effects of that day. May those we lost rest in the arms of God. NEVER FORGET.

The first responders set an example for all to emulate, where would we all be without them? God bless them all.

Well said Tim and special thanks to all our Canadian friends.

So many bravely rose above the fog of the day to do the deeds of giants.
Heroes came out from the woodwork that day.

We were lucky to have such a good friend in Canada there to help us in our hour of need.

A fact that sometimes is overlooked is the first recorded death that day was FDNY chaplain Father Mykal Judge O.F.M, Father Judge responded to the scene and had just given the last rites of the Catholic Church to critically injured firefighter and was starting to proceed to attend to others when he was killed by falling debris. Father Judge was well known among the FDNY and NYPD. He was at the bedside of critically wounded P.O Steven McDonald who would later become famous for publicly forgiving his assailant[although confined to a wheel chair for life] and going on to mend fences within communities and police during times of tension. Father Judge was also well known for being on the scene when TWA flight 800 exploded over Far Rockaway N.Y after taking off from JFK. Father Judge consoled the families of those killed and every year after that returned to celebrate Mass with families which still continues today. May this faithful servant of the Lord rest in peace. Many firefighters and police officers and emts perished that day and many, including me. believe Father Judge was there with each and everyone them at the end to take them home to their eternal reward.

The day everything changed.

To our first responders who run towards when everyone else is running away. At least Washington did something right and continued to fund (I'm amazed it was up for debate).
