RDSS2 TrackMaster Data

2 Attachment(s)
RDSS2 TrackMaster Data

To use RDSS2, you need a TrackMaster account with a RDSS Data plan, which also includes a 'Pay-as-you-go' type data plan which does not cost you anything until you download current race data. You are also welcomed to use the several free RDSS Example databases provided, and/or download current race data from TrackMaster.

You use the RDSS software itself (the RDSS Data Centre module) to download the data from TrackMaster - you don't download data via your browser. You can download either Past Performance data only, or Past Performances plus Result Charts data (the 'Bundle' plan). If you wish to switch between these two data plans, just sign up for both and tell RDSS in the Registration Section which type of data you wish to download. (Note: please read this description of the limitations using PP+Charts data in the current version of RDSS, here)

Here's the TrackMaster link to sign up for RDSS Past Performance data only: https://www.trackmaster.com/cgi-bin/register.cgi?rdp If you already have a TrackMaster or Equibase account, just use the form to add a RDSS data plan to your list of TrackMaster data subscriptions.

(Note: if you buy 20 cards/month, the price per card is the same as the traditional TMPP files used by the older DOS Validator, Synthesis and Speculator Sartin programs: $1.50/card)

Here's the TrackMaster link to sign up for RDSS Past Performance plus Result Chart data ( 'the Bundle'): https://www.trackmaster.com/cgi-bin/register.cgi?rdb

(Note: if you buy unlimited Past Performances plus Result Charts, the cost is significantly cheaper than buying even Result Charts alone from TrackMaster.)

A note about TrackMaster's billing method: if you choose Regular or Unlimited plans, you are re-billed automatically each period (e.g. monthly) on the day of the month when you signed up, until you cancel it.

Note: in order to register RDSS and download data, you must first set up a RDSS TrackMaster data account. If you need assistance with your TrackMaster account, or have questions about pricing or how to fill out the web form, you can always call TrackMaster Customer Service at 1 800 334-3800 (8am - 6pm PST) and tell them you need to set up an account for RDSS data.

RDSS2 Subscription Pricing

The 6-month RDSS software subscription fee is US$80 for 6-months or US$150 for 12-months, paid via PayPal, which also enables you to use most credit cards such as VISA, MasterCard, Amex. The subscription fee covers all updates, tech and customer support. Several other payment options are available on the Subscription Page.

If you are not completely satisfied with RDSS, first-time users can request a refund within the first 60 days, no questions asked (though I would appreciate any feedback). You are welcomed to use several free example databases included with the software, or download new ones regularly available.

If you subscribe to an Unlimited TrackMaster data plan for any 6 months during the year (i.e. not the Pay-as-you-go, not the 20 cards per month, but Unlimited) then you don't need to pay the software subscription fee for the subsequent period.

When you are ready, please click on the Subscription link below.
RDSS2 reminds you when your Subscription Renewal is within 30 days, and you will also be contacted again by email when it is time to renew.
