Not A Bad Day, even with missing the Classic

It's deja-Derby all over again: more often that not on Derby day, I'll miss the derby & hit something big elsewhere, like the $114 winner at Belmont on the same day last May... BC day is no different. I missed the Classic-again, but did ok in spite of it. My top 2 in race 5 were Amazo ($17.80-1st), & Force (2nd-ex=$145.20); Then in the 10th (Turf Mile), I hid the favorite for win, which made my top 2 Get Stormy (25-1) & Court (64-1), who won and paid $131.60. (totally missed in the exotics, tho). Also had the 2nd & 12th races, but missed the 7th & 11th. That's it for 2011. Looking forward to a great 2012.

Long Live The Sartin Methodology!

Those big longshots are so rare, but hitting them even once or twice a year is a great thrill! Especially when they win by a nose!
