Hi Dan, sorry for delay, still traveling. Richie's video used an earlier version of RDSS which captured the Mutuel Results along with tote info from Supertote. That info got broken by changes in Supertote's site and never replaced. In the existing RDSS Excel export, alas, you have to insert the finish positions and Mutuel results by hand :(. I have this fixed in the upcoming update to use a variety of sources, independent of tote feed (Supertote, TwinSpires, XpressBet, TrackMaster Result Charts). Exporting the Analysis data and results to Excel will be automatic, though optional and also unnecessary since everything is captured automatically in the internal RDSS Modeler.

Short (though sad) summary: you have to enter that missing info by hand for a while longer.

Best,

Ted

what is the RDSS modeler you referred to in your post? if it is one of the screens we already have can it be exported also?

The modeler is in the new version that is going to be released soon.

thanks georgeC5614. can't wait for all the new features!

Dan, George, in a month or so, I should be able to start showing some videos on the new Record Keeping System for RDSS2.1 (I need a catchy title for it ...) for:

- Decision Models (using past pacelines from your Analysis set, including Results and Payoffs)
- Track Profiles (using Result Chart data for the race itself)
- Wager tracking (wagers specified within RDSS, optionally uploaded to your ADW).

The software itself will take rather longer, but November might be a good time to start stoking the fires ;)

How about RDSS Data Storage System for a title, too long?? It will be great to see all the new features, and hopefully it is not too too long before realease.

Haha! We could use the acronym RDSS Data Storage System, or 'RDSS'! Sort of a fractal term ... ;)

Yes, hopefully not too too long (maybe only too long).

RDSS2 modeler

any progress on the modeler and it's moniker? i downloaded the manuals by tom hambleton PT.1 and 2 and it has some forms that can be used but that was 1991. he uses a term "TPR" with a scored of 175 which i was wondering if that relates to what we have here in RDSS2. are the insights and forms he explains in this excellent manual worth copying or is your new Modeler going to be better and more up to date?
thanks to all your hard work for us.
