My Purpose and long term Goal

My Purpose and Goal is identifying Turf routes that show this "Smoothness" to wager in advance based on Morning Line.

I am doing a LOT of reading on this method and am going to post 20 Turf routes in this thread identifying 2 horse win wagers in advance.

I will only post races where I have the "Smoothness" or 2 horses that dominate all the key readouts for that particular race and Variegate.

I will "paper bet" these 20 races. If it is profitable after a cycle then the **** is really gonna fly man. Trust me on that.

If I can NOT show profit then I will see it without losing real money. I like being "out there". Makes me NERVOUS. It's the only way for me to fly.

Todays wagers
1) Aqueduct - Race 4 - $ 2.00 Win on #'s 5 and 1
2) Keeneland- Race 5 - $ 2.00 Win on #'s 7 and 1
3) Calder - Race 7 - $ 2.00 Win on #'s 13 and 10

Total Bet - $ 12.00

ok

Results

Not good. Lose all 3 races with the 5 at Aqu 4th getting beat at the wire at good price.

Bet- $ 12.00
Ret - 0

Richie,How did the winners of those races stack up in Hidden Energy?Marion Jones would also say that was the most predictive readout for turf races.Jeff

Energy and Turf Races

Richie:

In my years of working with the Energy Program, one of the strange quirks I had with the program was handicapping Turf races with it! After using it to handicap several turf races I found my personal results to be not encouraging. I personally found the program to be dynamite when using to handicap sprint races of 7 furlongs or less on the dirt. Synergism II was my go to program for Turf and distance races of a mile or over.

Energy will work decently to handicap turf sprint races7 furlongs or shorter I think a problem with the program is that is wants to look at the pace line inputs and position itself to the running style of the contenders entered and based on if it see's more of early types horses it seems to counter with ranking the presser(s).

Again this is just me experience with the software and I have used it since 1992 or so.

Dap!
