In the 3rd at the Spa today Dr.Z[Bill Zimba] has a horse entered. The horse is #8 Union Patriot She has made 5 starts on the turf so far in her career but has not hit the board. Today she was entered as a MTO and she will run in the race now off the turf with the distance changed from 8F to 7F. Dr Z took Mick and myself to see this filly last yr during our Spa visit. Wishing Dr Z and his charge the best today.

The filly ended up 3rd. She showed early speed for a 1/2 fell back from 2nd to 4th then came back a little to settle for 3rd for her 1st in the money finish.

Thanks for posting, This is nice news. Congrats to Bill Z.
How ironic his horse showed. Ever since the breeder's cup and meeting DR Z
I love to take place and show bets
I had placed this bet early I did not notice the connections

I was going to do a "place to be" on the favorite #7
But it did not meet all my criteria. It was close so I decided to go show instead.
I was hoping for more than $2.40 but its a profit and the rebate makes it better.
