Help
Hi, I have only had the software a few days but I have watched several tutorials and the Sartin lectures twice weeks before I got the software. I don't seem to be getting a handle on handicapping with the software. I am familiar with Sartin methods and The Hat from the past and I have made TPR ratings for years. In Belmont race 1, 5/08/2021 I bet the 2 and the 6 to win and they ran 2nd and third . I don't expect to win every race but I see a few people here wining a larger percent betting 2 horses to win. Any thing that can help me would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Zav. What exactly are you asking for help with?. I'm working the Bel card for record keeping purposes and the winner #3 didn't come up for me either.

Thanks LT
I would like to know some tools or methods or looking at screens to make the best possible selections so in the long term I see a profit. I think I am making good decisions but my ROI so far says no.

Ok how are your contender and paceline selection doing? Do you have the winner in your top 5 most times[90% would a good %]. If not you need to go back and start there. Nothing else matters if you don't have the winner in your contender mix. I[as weel as some other proven winners] use the the top 5 ranked Profit Line and Bris Prime Power horses as my contenders. Also take a look at any horse that won its' last race if not in that group. This will get you the winner in the mix the desired 90% of the time. Noting gets 100%.

Hi LT,
Thanks for the help. No I don't have the winner in that group 90% of the time and when I do I'm betting the horse or horses that don't win. |
Ok back to the drawing board. Start right now working on getting the winner in the mix. Stop betting for now until you get the winner in the top 5 most of the time. Even if you hit 80-85% level you will be on the way. I've given you a proven contender selection method but feel free to use what ever you wish. Good luck. You can send me a p.m. anytime.
