Pace and Cap Day

Anyone attending on Sept 30th at Laurel ,when you go in you want to go to the terrace dining room. You want to go in the clubhouse entrance that is where you will get free valet parking.Where you get your free program you can ask and they will direct you.I have made a reservation for 15 I think that's how many are coming.Im not quite sure if I will be able to attend or not because I have had some setbacks due to my surgery. But I went ahead and set up everything so there shouldnt be any problems. It sounds like you have another neat day setup for those who attend Shoe.

On the different note: it is nice to see this BBS back up and running!

Bill has extra tickets I think for anyone who wants to come.Post time is 1:10 but we should be there by 12:30 Im not sure what race will be in honor of the group.Jeff

For anyone bringing a computer I suggest you bring a backup battery if you have one.I think we will end up with 3 tables and there are 2 plugs at each.Im not bringing one so as to let others who depend on them more be able to use an outlet.Jeff

When you walk into the track on the 30th there will be what they call a group leader inside.Just tell her your with the VDC Pace and Cap group and she will take you where we are sitting.I got us tables on the first level because I cant navigate stairs too well and also non smoking[sorry if there are any smokers coming].I plan on getting there around 11:45 ,Im not sure how long I will be staying because this incision is still giving me trouble.I know most of you have some distance to travel but just get there before 12:45.The first race is at 1:10 and Im not sure what race ours will be.I suggest that we pick at least one track that everybody will do ,it might be fun to compare notes. An east coast track probably will be better so I suggest Philly,Del,Bel,Lrl or Calder, you all can decide that if you think it's a good idea.Jeff

Laurel on Saturday

Hello Binder and all fellow calculationists: Our fly and cruise to Europe was great. Now I'm really looking forward to the highlight of the very special trip to Laurel Racetrack in Maryland USA. Also to come home and learn that Binder had a great trip visiting Bradshaw in Oklahoma. See you Saturday in Laurel. Brooks
PS I'm bringing nomorebocci, too.
