Great work on this one Tim. In addition to these readout it's more amazing that the 9 started out with a 6/1morning line and ended up at 9/1 at post time to miss the best win price of the day by ten cents.

no way the 9 was a non contender. here's energy

Hi JP. My contender selection is always the top5 ranked PL & BPP horses. The winner is there over 90% of the time thus making the 9 a non contender for me. Also the tracks handicapper and trk announcer did not have it either and that was a surprise to me.

Thanks Darryl.

Beautiful example of the DWLS... Nice hit Tim. Thanks Don |
Thanks Don. I just hope folks are seeing these LSP when they are capping.

Tim, this is a really interesting one. Since the 9 wasn't in your normal top-5 PL/BPP contenders but was both a Werpy/RMATH LSP and an RMATH key horse, how do you handle that situation before the race?
Does a strong LSP/key horse automatically get reconsidered as a win/exacta key even though it failed your normal contender screen, or was there something else in the 9's RDSS readouts that made you comfortable keying it on top? I'm trying to understand exactly when the LSP overrides the normal contender cut versus when it is just an exotic inclusion. Thanks, Jimmy |
Hi Jimmy. First the LSPS never over ride the true contenders, The only question for me is whether or not they are worth betting or not. For me a double LSP like this is an automatic play payoffs being the final factor of which combos and type of bet[dd or ex] to make. It really is just a call I am use to making based on bankroll & confidence level of having done it before,
