RDSS - Key Matchup Aid
 

Jim went to the races today. I spoke with him bout an hour ago.

I told him I had NOT worked any races today due to some issues here. I asked him if he could lay out a couple of races for me to work since he had brought the Form home with him ( this usually means he KILLED the races man!:) )

OK so he lays out 2 races from Tampa that play right into my spot plays (see he knows what I am doing since he laid the groundwork for the spot plays HIMSELF). I get both the winners at 10.60 and 8.00 which is great.

Then he tells me to go to FG and work the 3rd race. I put it up and QUICKLY have the race down to 3,5 and 6 by just scrolling the horses.

Now it gets tough. Here is a screenshot of the actual lines I entered while on
the phone with Hat. I saw the 1st fraction times and immediately tossed the 6 ok.

BUT I got STUCK matching the 3 and 5 because neither appeared to be able to SEPERATE from the other at the FIRST call.

I TOLD Jim " I am STUCK big time." He says NOTHING (as usual ;))

Now I start going back and forth between the 3 and 5 paceline screens and then I " SEE" it.

THIS is called using ALL the matchup tools Jim has laid out for us.

I am on the paceline screen of the 5 and click the TANDEM tab on the bottom.

Low and behold I am "stuck" NO more.

The 5 and 3 raced in TANDEM and the 5 DESTROYED the 3. LOOK.

Then I looked at the pace of THAT race and see that it was REAL FAST. This also helps me to feel that if a real FIGHT ensues and the pace gets HOT this further plays into the hands of the 5.

I QUICKLY tell Jim " the 5 kills the 3 in a tandem against FAST pace. the 5 is my horse and I "MARK" him NOW. ( That "Mark" is the signal between us of the point of no return regarding wager DECISION. He will NEVER speak before I "mark")

He tells me the 5 WINS!

THIS is exactly what a program is supposed to do imho. Provide the TOOLS needed when called on to make DECISIONS. RDSS really shone through beautifully. This from someone who really doesn't do much regarding fancy stuff and screens ok?

Jim's "toolkit" is also a lot more COMPLETE than a lot of people give credit for. In it's simplicity also lies POWER.

So I get the win which felt good. When he told me how much the horse paid I said " What? who the hell did they bet Hat?"

Jim just laughed a bit and said "hell if I know Rich, this guy looked like a LOCK to me"
