Usually coming back from a down time, the brain is fresh, not clutter by a bunch of recent infos. So I will take AD selections and bet them. I'm a Syn2 lover and I trust AD picks.

I appreciate the vote of confidence, lbj. Too bad things didn't pan out as planned.

Watched in abject horror and disbelief as "I thought sure it was going to win" ran through my mind in six out of seven races.

They all threw in the towel...one after another.

I don't recall EVD ever being so anti-speed biased. It's like...it went Poly or something. Quicksand in the stretch tonight or what?

The only saving grace was the seventh race, but I wasn't playing trifectas. And I really couldn't believe #1 gave it up there anyway.

7th race - Evangeline Downs - May 02, 2007
Pgm Horse Win Place Show
8 Shot the Deputy 7.20 4.00 4.00
1 White Star 11.20 7.80
3 Derrick 10.60

$2 Exacta 8-1 86.00
$2 Quinella 1-8 55.00
$2 Trifecta 8-1-3 890.60

good capping anyway.

Same here for the last 3 or 4 times that I've played EV. I understand that they till in mud bug heads on the stretch.:D

Also a lot of storms sweeping thru central Texas & on into Cajun Country so maybe we need a lot of 100+ days to dry out the swamp! Hope not though. I'd rather change tracks and have a longer spring.
