Prime the mind to win today

Before starting your work on TODAY'S races give it some positive feedback.

Open YESTERDAY'S work and select 2 races that you WON.

Remember the thought processes and feelings that were part of you when these races were worked. Go through the working of those 2 races slowly. You are very relaxed and confident because you KNOW you won this race.

Then go and LOOK at the result chart of those races. LOOK at them. You did real good work didn't you? There it is in spades right in front of your eyes.

A little primer for the mind and a little love for you! :)

work

Richie, I did what you suggested and have discovered for me a very big downfall. My 2 races were early in the runnings. What I discovered is that after I win 1 or 2 races I no longer spend the amount of time on picking my pacelines like I did starting the race. Apparently after picking a couple of races I think that I can just zip through the lines. The arrogance of me!!
Thanks for the tip, it brought to light an important basic factor in choosing lines.

Richie, I think I may have to go back farther then yesterday to get that feeling. ;)

Seriously, your point is well taken and will help enforce a winning attitude as opposed to dwelling on losses.

Richie,

Great minds think alike. I was playing late last night, had a pretty decent night, and was reviewing everything this morning before turning on the computer for today, then saw your post. I always review yesterday, good or bad, and when I am done I totally turn my focus to today's task at hand.
