Video: Mountaineer 06/02 Race 4

Here's a race my neighbour and I found at 8pm tonight, going off at 8:15 which we worked lickety split, and with a fortunate ending.

(Please see post #4 below).

OK, I redid this video as a plain WMV file which you can download here:

http://www.artofpace.com/media/MNR0602-4.wmv

No streaming, just either Run it in place, or Download it to your computer and watch at your leisure. Uses Windows Media Player.

WMV files are a LOT smaller than the same Flash (SWF) file, so perhaps kinder to my file server. (I'm still trying to get the hang of this media production stuff )

WMV Format

Ted, nice presentation. I like the WMV format much better. It seems the flash format hangs at times and takes up alot of computer resources.

Direct and to the point. Way to go.

This works so much better and I enjoyed the video.

I'm redoing all the other videos posted in the RDSS Videos Topic in WMV download format (http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3925).

I've finished the 1.5 hour May 1 seminar. I'm working on the 4 WO races from May 28.

Ted

Thank you Ted

I really was losing focus because of the pauses
Now I have them "saved as" .. Its just a bit easier to
watch

Ted Bad news The computer made it through the flooded keyboard
but when I paniced and flipped over the laptop The water must have run into the screen and shorted out the backlight

The screen is very dark I can just barly see it
I did manage to hook up another monitor so I'm back in business

Thanks for the meeting and its fun working races with you

Wow Bill, was it that killer joke I told? (Remember the Monty Python killer joke sketch?) Just kidding...

Sorry to hear about your laptop: re-enforces my phobia about drinking and computing. I hope you can get it fixed.

I'll try the new web conferencing setup in the near future. Still shaking out a few things. Thanks for helping me test it - you took a hit for the team :(

Ted,

Enjoyed the videos (My Flash worked o.k.). WMV works and we get a larger image screen to boot.

Pete
