Saving screen shots

I want to save some screen shots in Val4, but with the DOS program running, the rest of my computer is about worthless. I hit <Prt Scr> and try to dump it into "Paint" but that process takes well over 10 minutes per screen dump. With Val4 open, no other program will work fast enough to be of any use.
I thought I read somewhere once about how to save Val screens easily, but cannot find it anymore.

Any suggestions?

Tom,

You could use a 3rd party tool like ScreenHunter Free or Snagit to cut a rectangle of the screen image then dump it to a GIF or JPG or PNG file. I think there are several others mentioned around here, but those 2 seem to work quite well and are what many folks use.
