well i like 2-11 as long as the odds are 4-1 or better each. 4 may be less then 7/2 so no bet on the 4

A scramble to me...
I narrow this one down to the 4,6, and 11.
I look for 9 and 10 to be out front early. 4 and 6 like to up on or near the lead, but can win or run well sitting off the pace too. 11 runs ote and the last line appears to be fplr except for the runners coming out of sprints. It held 2nd position 1c-2c and then ran on to win. Further down it shows it can win from further back. This is as far as I can go... Good luck... |
The 4 wins at a short price ($4.40). Rich, if you had this one as a standout I'd love to get your feedback on it if you get a chance. Not a big price, I know, but looking to see if I could've sharpened my focus on the race past the final three.
Also, I noticed the actual running time for the race: 23.0 46.0 109.4 140.2 The winner was 1-hd at the 1c half-mile, and then opened up from there. Remembering the PP's show a previous win from 3rd at 1c, so it doesn't need the lead. I'm not too familiar with times at Pen, but based on the races you've put up here that seems fast. This one might look strong in the next race, an early fighter that can also win from 3rd. Hopefully, some kind of price next time, but maybe that's a dream... |

The result is the #4 winning running OTE from 3rd position in his pps.
Pete: I put the race up thinking an OTE finish was in the cards after looking at the makeup of the field (sprinters, wild E horse etc) I had the race narrowed to the 1,2,4 as final win contenders. I was out last night but to be honest if I am betting the race live and see 6/5 in the 4 and 11/1 on the #1 I am pulling the trigger on the 1 man. Thanks to everyone for chiming in! :) |
