Hi..

I was looking over some races and this hit me ....

We have a horse here that won 2 turf races but since this is a route , his turf record is ZERO!!

Now say he runs 10 more races on the dirt and then runs in turf route race vs horses that had never won on the turf period..
Wouldn't you think he had some sort of a better chance than the rest since he won 2 turf races and you cant see it on PP's and his record???

What happened to overall turf record?

mike :confused::confused:

Hi Mike,

I believe that anything less than 8f is considered a sprint.

Have a great day,

Bud

Good point Mike: 7.5f is a sprint and 8f is a route. At that boundary between sprints and routes, doesn't make perfect sense does it, especially if you can't see the PPs.

Would you suggest in the Summary section having an additional line in the case of a Turf race today: Lifetime Turf ?

Not to be repetitive because you and I have already communicated about this Ted, but in cases where races get taken off the turf it is instructive to have the dirt history available by some kind of toggle or just generally included

Thanks,

Bill

Absolutely Bill. This will be done!
