I am looking for all horses that are 4-1 or better for win bets and listing 4 horse exacta and super box combinations. Optional choices in order of preference will be listed in case of scratches.

I'm monitoring win bets at 4-1 or greater, 4 horse $1.00 exacta boxes and
4 horse boxes @ $0.20 in the supers.

I used the free program, Handifast V 7.1.

At the end of 8 races I'm at a small plus of $27.55
so the next 2 races will tell the story.
Normally I put $ 22.80 into each race
Usually 3 win bets @ $ 2.00 ea. ($6.00)
1 $1.00 exacta 4 horse box @$12.00
and 1 (4) horse super box @ $0.20 a way which comes to $4.80

Too make a short story long, I was -$17.05 for the day.
If I chose not to invest $48.00 in the super or if I just bet the exactas I would have been well ahead.
The purpose of the exercise was to see the most productive type of bets to make using multiple horses.
I can see why Pino specializes and confines his play to exactas.
It works for him.

Bill...Did you utilize my New Pace screens in your capping?

Mike, I didn't base my capping on New Pace but I did notice the contenders were similar to what I came up with.
I did compare the New pace numbers to mine.

I wanted to see what the best type of bets would be.
4 horse exacta boxes seem to be the way to go for me if
I could convince myself that multiple contender betting is the right thing to do and justify playing the exactas.
For win betting I would use 2 horses at most and that would be stretching it for me.
I like the Sartin software. KGEN is very good. I've won with Energy and EXDC. Synergism gave me a first place finish in the P.A.I.H.L in 2010.
