Val 4 It could be a help to others too
This is from an email I think It could be a help to others too
To Bill .... Did race 3 at Parx VDC 3,4,5,1 BLBL 3,4,1,5 Came in 1,3,4 1 3-1 3 5-1 4 5-2 A case like this when dont match Im lost My answer ... Here are the conditions and the Pace line used PRX1101 3 6.5 D CL 3+ $28,000 CP=$25,000 1:12PM (PLUS UP TO 40% PABF) FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES. First Half Daily Double/ Pick 3 (Races 3-4-5) Exacta Trifecta $2 Pick 6 (Races 3-8) Here are the lines used Code:
PRX1101 3 6.5 D CL 3+ $28,000 CP=$25,000 1:12PM 1/7 |
Horse 3
Code:
PRX1101 3 6.5 D CL 3+ $28,000 CP=$25,000 1:12PM 3/7Horse 4 Code:
PRX1101 3 6.5 D CL 3+ $28,000 CP=$25,000 1:12PM 4/7and horse 5 Code:
PRX1101 3 6.5 D CL 3+ $28,000 CP=$25,000 1:12PM 5/7 |
Here are the readouts I use
First is the Early Late graph
Every horse is close to the center line so i take note that there are no extreme Early or Late energy runners also Looking at this graph every race will give you a idea of Energy parameters needs at your track for distance and total energy level thats why the total energy is also listed on this screen Code:
PRX1101 3 6.5 D CL 3+ $28,000 CP=$25,000 1:12PM |
Next is the INc Match Up Graph
The 3 rd panel is the exact same readouts you will see on the VALIDATOR readout screen (# 7 on the menu)
Code:
Code:
PRX1101 3 6.5 D CL 3+ $28,000 CP=$25,000 1:12PM |
So now
So Now here is you answer When BLBL and Val don't match ?
My answer is to go by them both - Which is much easier to do on RDSS because both readouts are on the same screen But The readouts are the same with VAL 4 and RDSS almost always sometimes the ranking will flip flop if the readouts that make the rankings are very close Anyway Here is the BLBL Code:
PRX1101 3 6.5 D CL 3+ $28,000 CP=$25,000 1:12PMThe keys to the BLBL /Val screen are how well the top VDC horses do on BLBL Your race is a good example of using the final odds You show the 8/5 fav ranked 2nd on Bl you show the # 1 with a 12/1 morning line ranked 3rd Basic Sartin Methodology guidelines give you the winner #1 ranked top 2 VDC and top 3 BLBL with good odds for horse 1 Here is a good formula I use Look at the top 2 horses on BLBL in this case its 3 and 4 Now you should decide based on the vital readouts and final odds which of these two is your first bet Now draw a imaginary line under the second ranked horse and do the same with horses ranked 4 and 5 and either pick that horse or the horse ranked 2nd Here is a third trick Count the 1 and 2 rankings on the Val screen readouts The two horses in your top 4 with the most 1 and 2 readouts will be good bets if the odds are worth it |
Bill,
Nice job with this. What does the BL\BL screen represent? What is it based on? I do have a suggestion in the FU'S Schmidt used to do that beginners series of articles.I think there should be a area on P and C for beginners as I see quite a few new people on board here. Jeff |
