Actually, Boxing Day up here has it's roots, as your videos say - from back in English history, when the servants were given Christmas boxes the day after Christmas. Now it has turned out to be like your Black Friday after your Thanksgiving. Even that is making it's way up here more and more. I got my netbook last year on a black Friday sale right here in my small village.
