How I play.

Default settings, Val4. Best of last 3 comprable but I am sometimes loose on this. Adjusted SR and perceptor & no beaten lengths over 7 1/2. I love cheap races and hate last time winners unless they have a big win and/or good works. I eliminate to my top 5 keeping the top TE and Priminary LS score. If they don't line up I'll eliminate to get 5 by BLBL.

When selecting races for the contest I try to find full fields (min. 8) and ML odds with only 1 maybe at 5:2 and perfer 6F and no 2YO, maidens and NW1.

I bet off of the ML for contests as we can't wager on line here in the Texas although it has not been a problem for me. I wagercap the top 3 or 4 contenders using the high & low odds, hidding if less than 2:1.

From Bill and Ted's spreadsheet it was apparent that I don't need to bet place since for me it's a losing deal. I plan to bet win only but in all of the above statements I reserve the right to change my mind.:D

Thanks for the spreadsheets Bill & Ted.

Thank You Bud
After reading your outline I can see why you have been in the top 3 both in June and July. I also wish to give you a shout for your great work in the 2nd
20 race cycle, within the july contest
You were a big part in me pushing for seperate 20 race cycles as opposed to
the running 20 race method we used in July.
You are a good person for us to follow
Bill

Thanks Bill,

But you deserve the credit, not me as I am just following your example. I really was sloppy the first 2o races in July and decided that I had to do better or just quit. I was terrible! I focused more on the last 20 and was much improved and I'm looking forward to improvement in August. Also all of my selections were ML odds. I thought that would be a disadvantage but it really wasn't. I'll be watching your explainations and learning more from you.

Thanks for being a good teacher. Doc would be very proud of you.

Bud
