Tampa Race 7 January 26-Saturday

Energy users--tomorrow's 7th at Tampa looks as if the favorite is ripe to be taken down. The favorite's latest form looks terrible--hard to endorse. I've narrowed it down to the 1, 8 and 9. If you've run this race through your program and care to share please do.
Thanks.

Tampa result

Thanks a lot guys. I did end up using the 6 with the 8 after checking the Total Energy of the 1 and 9; those last two mentioned seemed to come up inferior to the 6 and 8. I liked how they (1,9) showed the ability to 'close' by 'eyeballin' but once the numbers were run I had to go back to the 6 coupled with the 8. Thanks for 'chiming in'.

Me too

I also did the exacta 6 - 8, (as a trial). I didn't bet it. I have this superstition that 7 F races confuse the horses, unless they run them a lot. They don't know if they are a route or a sprint. I could be wrong, and just no good at this distance, so I stay away from them. But it looked like the trainer had a distinct pattern involved with the 6 here. Entering it in higher class routes, then dropping him down with an intention to win a lower class sprint ???

Thanks Ted, Thank you lord John for the race
Dorianmode good to see you back on pace and cap

I rarely do 7 furlong races but I still check them. Some times as you point out some horses have the ability and the match up fits so it works.

Very good point, i treat 7F like a route for that very reason, the late horses seem to prevail at this distance.
