Can I use the second line?

Hi,
This is today's first race at Suffolk Downs. I would like to know what people think about this horse #7.
Would it be ok to excuse the last line , in favor of the second line?
I am only worried about the low RC of the second line.
All comments welcome :)
Thanks!

last line

I would give the horse a second chance It was "used up" in its first
race against winners So the first try against winners of a higher class,
But where else does a maiden winner go than up in class?

That 85 FFR rating in a race were it was beaten by
40 lengths says the POR was fast or the winner just blew away the field

The problems is if they ran this horse in a stakes race as a maiden
Why did they give up and put it in a $5000 claimer non 2 life after its maiden win.

This seems like they want to dump it fast since they came back in 7 days
I quess the rule of thumb is a $5000 MC winner is about half that value so I guess
CL$5000 is ok to start

Bill

Hi Bill V,
Your comment is very well appreciated. Thanks.
Just for fun, I will place a small SHOW bet on the #7 :)
Have a nice day:)

This horse looks like a pure Early and needs the lead or else gives up. She appears to be not able to handle the pace at 23.4 and 47.9, so throws in the towel.

Yes something is amiss She took command with easy times of 25.1 49.3 and 115.5 and still packed it in

Thanks for your comment Joefour. It gave me some good action for my money.
It actually took off well, and had the lead for a short while ...but faded badly in the end.
I guess it could not handle the pressure. Well, I enjoyed watching the race regardless.

Can I use the 2nd line?

Welcome to the Matchup, Bro.

My thoughts as well. I'm surprised RSDD picked P for running style.

Which brings me to a question - if we change it to an E does it make any difference in the software calculations or is it just a visual cue. Ted/Bill?

Running Styles

Terry,

I'm not the one to answer that question, but my opinion is that the software tries to do a good job of defining running style and Quirin speed points. Anything better would probably be getting into some kind of artificial intelligence. Oftentimes I agree with the definitions, and sometimes I don't, so I change it.
