I agree Richard as its easier to pick winners than the place or show horse etc. My favorite is the DD but I also play other horizontal bets. On P-3 it doesn't pay to play if two favorites are likely to win. In the P6 mast are always playing too many longshots instead of the likely winners and a single or 2 races with only 2 horses greatly reduces the extension or cost.
