You are precisely right - all lines are treated equally (if sometimes mysteriously) - that's the attempt at comparing apples to apples. A subsequent article about TrackMaster's process of creating pars/ITVs/DTVs and CRs for new surfaces should clarify a few additional items (soon, I promise
