Whenever this kind of thing happens, (e.g. missing horses), I would always suspect the RDSS convert to database did not complete properly, and thus try it again as you did, rather than suspect any problem with TrackMaster data file (though it could happen - there is a glitch with some duplicated Workouts in their data files).
