It is a monster. Went through here first. Sunday, there were like 125,000 households without power statewide, Monday that had moved to 245,000 and by this morning it was 600,000. That's a big chunk of the households in Oklahoma.

The tree damage is unbelievable. Here in Norman we had over 4 inches of freezing rain and it did a number on a lot of the really old trees. 100 years of planting and we're back to praarie land. The same thing happened to the Omaha area a few years ago and to western Arkansas a few years before that.

The good news is that the freezing rain has let up here and the power crews are doing a hell of a job getting peoples power back. The bad news is that the same storm system is still moving north further into Missouri and Illinois.

Stay Dry Jim. The Jack Daniels helps with the crying. My choice is Old Charter 10 year old; in good times and in bad.
