I'm still baffled how the #10 can go from bottom to top based on these pacelines changes, shouldnt he still be somewhere in the middle if you have the career best pacelines of the three horses selected.
But when you reduce the field down to 5 horses in the BL/BL screen the #10 falls from rank 1 to rank 3. Should I be reducing the field or leave all the PL selection in as you did???
This really highlights staying away from suspect career best as PL selections and possibly really looking at the BL/BL before you reduce the field down to 5 horses.

I don't really pay much attention to career best stuff Carl. Others do. I pick pace lines around a projected pace for an on the lead horse at both the 1st and 2nd calls. I pass all others and WAIT for races that are part of MY game plan.
If today calls for a 44 pace and a horse shows a super line against a 46 pace I am NOT using it. I don't care if the speed rating was 110 for the line. When I select lines around a proj pace MANY good things happen when one looks at a LOT of individual race readouts. I am going to stop here.
I am NOT hiding horses because I want to see the whole field including POSITIONAL running styles which will reveal todays matchup. Every race I work you will see I have marked my own running styles. I pay no attention to computer generated Esp.
Everyone does their own thing,it's all good. This is my way
