I hope the death of racing occurs after I am not around, but I wont hold my breath that the powers that be are as disconnected to their fans today just like that have been for years. We are no longer the only gamble in town.
Reminds me a lot of the disdain Kodak put out regarding the change to digital imaging: they fooled themselves almost into bankruptcy.
If the industry does not start to promote itself better, trim the fat and realize what got fans out there in the first place (hint hint: racing STARS) then they deserve the demise that is ahead.
