Unfortunately the program I attempted to use to clearup the blurriness does not allow for screen shifting. Hopefully what you can view will give you the main idea for using the sub-notebook.

Things to look for: min 1.6ghz processor & 1gb Ram. SSD (solid state drives for longer battery life), Windows XP. Improvement in disk power usage can mean longer battery life with the standard drive now being made. Check them out.

Observations:
I have an eeePC therefore may be a little tilted in my thoughts. Sony to me is expensive and doesn’t offer a lot of choices. HP good solid machine but may lack available choices. Dell appears to have most of this covered plus when you go through their built your PC, they have a ton of extras that will bring up the costs significantly. eeePC began the whole thing and seem to be keeping their head in front of all.
Whatever you do, go to each and build a comparison list on the items you feel you will need. In that way you will compare apples to apples and see where the costs for each end up.
Also, when you do find the one you want, search the net to find the best price because the vendors making these never discount. Also I found that Best Buy has demo's in their stores so that you can get the real life touch and feel.
