Race 2 mountaineer, I came up with:

VDC 1 = 2,3
VDC 3 = 4,10
VDC 4 = 7

So I see 2,3 as 8/5 and 9/5, 10 at 9/2, 4 at 70/1 and 7 at 6/1

So I decide to just play the 4 to win/place..

a nice 2nd paying $45 to place.. not a bad start
