Using RDSS and Tote X-Ray

I am continuing my study of coordinating my RDSS contenders in conjunction
with the Tote-X-Ray (TX) to make my wagering decisions. I have found that if
there are 2 or more of my contenders in synch with the TX then there is a
high probabilty that these horses will be in in the money. I still consider
win betting using the standard Methodolgy technique of hiding the
favorite and betting my 2 best overlays within 4 or 5 tiers but I am primarily
looking for an edge on the exotics. I still have time to bet at 1-2 MTP.

I have been testing this on paper and getting good results and even though
I have less that 100 races of data I couldn't resist wagering with
modest betting on DED for 12/02. I hit two 10 cent Superfectas and a
modest win bet for a profit of approximately $86.00. Refer to the
screen shots and comments below:

For Race 5 my picks were: 5-2-10-8 the TX at 1 MTP was: 7-10-5-4
Notice Tx horses 5 and 10 match my RDSS picks. I made a judgemental
call that the 7 horse was a false contender since the horse was not in
the top 5 for TE or primary line score. The 4 horse was a FTS but that's
ok because the Super bet gives me a 5 horse range.

The R5 Super was: 10-2-4-5

For R6 My Rdss pics were: 8-7-1-10-5 and TX at 1 MTP was: 2-7-1-9
I discounted the tx 2 and 9 horses since they were not in the top 5 TE.
This leaves me with the 1 and 7 that match my RDSS pics. The other
RDSS are the 8-10 and 5. I liked the 8 and 10 over the 5 but I still have
the luxury of including the 5 as the total outlay was 7.20 for my structured
bet.

I also bet and won the 7th race for a small 8.00 win still confirming
my pics with TX but simply hiding the favorite and betting my 2 overlay
choices.

I will always trust my pics over TX as I feel my paceline selection is
pretty good. Maybe I am in my own world doing but as long as it catches
those exotics that is all that matters.
