I've been listening to Las Vegas 1993 for the past week, so Doc and Jim are still alive and energetic to me. I did get to meet both in the early 90's and was out to Beaumont a couple of times. Some fun banter between Howard, Jim, Brohamer, and Spencer Toner. I believe Doc had just turned 67 and was kidding around about winning a race by playing a blind 6-7 exacta box. Brohamer was just shaking his head about 20 years of teaching going down the drain! You could tell these guys really liked each other.

Vegas 1992 will be next on the "listen while commuting" agenda. I can guarantee that I'm probably the only guy walking around midtown Manhattan with Doc and friends playing on the headphones!
