Doc's guidelines are very good but there is no right or wrong way in picking them just your feeling how you want to do it.
As the guys here that know me will tell you I'm very good at being able to pick the correct paceline.But once I get that far I'm very bad on how to look at the readouts from any software and get the winner.So even though if your able to pick lines well it's only 1\2 of the battle.
