Appy,
Don't worry about the Par time number - if you use RDSS you don't need it. What you need are original running times equalized to today's distance, adjusted by Inter Track and Daily Track variants. Which is what you get on the
Adjusted Screen. Which is the source of
Velocity calculations. Which get compounded into the
Primary Factors and the other aggregate factors such as
BL/BL, VDC etc. Which is the source of
Early/Late analysis, etc, etc.
It's more important to spend precious time understanding how to interpret the various readouts, how to identify true contenders, how to consistently pick pacelines, how to know when Early horses will prevail and when they will be depleted - than it is to worry about the mechanics of how times run by different horses on different distances/surfaces are adjusted to a 'par' for today's distance/surface. That work is already done for you, courtesy of TrackMaster's ITVs and RDSS' suite of adjustments.
