Storm,

I try to have only contenders on my BL/BL screen and then no more than 4 or 5. But if there is say a seven horse field I might just leave them all on the screen. However it works best for me to narrow the potential winners down to about 4 or 5.

Using your APV/CLASS figures I would have discarded the #6 and then entered the rest into the program. Then I would have taken the top ones on total energy which were the 8, 5, 7, 4, 2 judging from your BL/BL screen

Thats when I can see which ones of the top 4 or 5 on total energy has the best hidden energy with the best turn time with the best factor W with the best total pace potential along with the fractels and the Perceptor screen and therefore the ones that I will invest my Social Security money on.

I find that if I concentrate on just one track, keep records and bet two horses to win I make a profit.

I now stay away from the exactas and trifectas and will continue to do so untill I have a working profile of 2nd and 3rd place horses (which I don't at this time).
Nearly every time I try and bet them I loose and when I don't bet them I see where a $1 Superfecta of several thousand dollars would have hit in the exact order of the BL/BL.

For me right now it is best to stick to what I do best and that is betting two horses to win, and usually one of my two horses is out of the money and the other comes in 1st or 2nd. The trick is to know which one it will be.

This is a business if decisions and judgment.

It is you against the world.

This site (Pace and Cap) is the only place I have found where people will truly help you to succeed and not want something in return.

Some of the old timers here are giants in their knowledge of the game and how to win at it

You however must be willing to have an open mind and study and learn.

My goal is to get good at it and make a nice honest living from being a para-mutual investor and do it right from my own home office.

Good luck
