I hope others can help you as far as what file to use,
I am afraid I am not much help with that. The reason being, it has been so long since I downloaded a file for Val 4 I can't recall which file it uses.
When I use Val 4 I have RDSS export a file that goes right into a folder Val 4 needs called
Trkmast
I would try this ..
install Val 4 onto your C drive Then make a shortcut and put the shortcut on your desktop.
Now make a seperate folder on your C drive named
TRKMAST
When you download files, make sure they go into this TRKMAST folder
the Val 4 and the download files should not be in the same folder
The downloads go into a file called TRKMAST
