In the Racing record/Money Box section you show, the S/D stands for Surface/Distance. If today's surface is Turf, that section will show the horses record on Turf for today's distance structure. If today is a route >= 8f, it shows the Turf record for routes. If today is a sprint < 8f, it shows the record for Turf sprints. If today is not on Turf, it shows the non-Turf record. (I know, it should break out Poly-type surfaces as well, but we don't get that info, yet).

In the example, below, the horse has 2 Turf routes and 1 turf Sprint (7.5 - yes, a borderline distance ...). That's why its S/D rcord (Turf/Route) shows 2 Starts.

I could tune this up by asking for the Polytrack break out info, and by putting a little floating Tooltip explaining that the S/D record refers to (in this case) Turf/Route.
