Unlike the 6 furlong open sprint the F&M race only has a couple of early horses. Both Ismene and Star Ship Truffles are super fast early and SST can rate and win as well. Don't be fooled by the Calder races times, they translate well on surfaces like SA. SST is a graded winner and I would not be surprised to see her wire or nearly wire this field; Ismene HAS to have lead, or else,
