For a very short time, The VDC readout was presented in a Phase 1 type
"100" scale, This was on the program named the Synthesis SMT program,
The SMT or Sartin Multi-Track program was just around for a few months, SMT was replaced with Validator and the VDC readout
was only shown as a compound readout thereafter.
Doc went away from the "100" type readouts, He went instead to compound ratings. He wanted clients to get away from missing longer price horse.
He felt that people would miss longshots because they were modeling the
value of the winning horses, not that the top 3 valued horses in VDC
were to be rated as equal, and that the final odds were a better betting guide
