Pick Four format
Fraser Rawlison, aka The ODDS Professor at Hasting's showed me a great template for the pick 4. A way to reiterante favorites yet have enough breadth to cover enough if a longer price invades the outcome.
Ticket 1 ticket 2 ticket 3 ticket 4 ticket 5 Leg 1 A ABBB A A A Leg 2 A A ABBB A A Leg 3 A A A ABBB A Leg 4 A A A A ABBB Ticket 6 ticket 7 ticket 8 ticket 9 ticket 10 ticket 11 Leg 1 ABBB ABBB ABBB A A A Leg 2 ABBB A A ABBB ABBB A Leg 3 A ABBB A ABBB A ABBB Leg 4 A A ABBB A ABBB ABBB A = your top choice BBB=your 2nd 3rd 4th choices This spreads out coverage as well as has enough favorite redundancy to allow for multiple tickets if all the chalk comes in.

Fraser did note that the format was only for serious players with a good bankroll as it can go days with NO trips to the window and then BOOM, Box Cars the next BUT is that not the way of the fickle parimutuel??
