Aodds SuperGold98 Question - Pace and Cap

Hi,

I'm using Aodds Gold 98 for Windows and have a question. I like to look at the past performances on the screen with the highlighted portions pertaining to today's probable pace. However, if I print, the shadings are not on the printed copy. Any way to get the shadings on the printed past performances out of this program? Thanks for any replies.

hey Jim, try to print in black and white, i know randy says to use color but thus far its worke fine for me. Be carefull of the default prob pace. I pick my own calls as the program it seems picks the dream race 1st, 2d etc calls. Ive been usingwhat Jim and Richie have posted here and then using the plot graphs with fairly good sucess. best Doug

Hi Doug,

Thanks for the reply. I have a black/white laser printer hooked up to my pc. It prints the horses starts, firsts, seconds, and thirds in shading but not the other areas that are shaded on the screen. I am a neophyte with it, but it seems like an excellent program that compares favorably with some of the newer programs out there.

You can use Adobe Acrobat or some of the screen capture software which allows the capture program to be set up as a printer. Once you've printed, most of these programs give you the ability to "Highlight" whatever you wish and in whatever color you choose. Then after you highlight, you can save the document or picture.

I've been using Aodds gold for awhile now.

Rumors .... BRIS may discontinue the HAT FILE.

Can you convert the Bris Single file to work in Aodds Gold 98

I see some on the internet that are recommended by PC Magazine.

Which one would you recommend ?

I use EZ Snap, its free and very easy to use. Its worth a try
