07-27-19 Testing A New Method - Pace and Cap

I am testing this new method on longshot races that were indicated to me from a publication (non Sartin related) I use on a daily basis. These are very difficult races by most standards.

I would look at the top 2 selections and consider only those horses that are 4 -1 odds or better at the gate, If there are 2 horses , I will bet both (1 unit for win, 2 units for place). If there are none pass the race. Hopefully, there will be at least one.

CBY.....R8.....3,9,4,2

DMR....R7.....1,3,7,4

ELP......R3....1,5,11,10
............R5.....9,2,4,3
............R10...7,4,9,10

FLX.....R8.....1,6,5,7

GPX.....R10...5,1,6,9

SAR.....R1.....5,10,6
.............R10...1,8,9,5

WOX,,,.R12...3,5,6,7

race 1 sar the 10 was pounded to 2-1 and galloped. From what I see, your method seems to select winners and it is just a question of waiting for your price.

You hit the nail on the head.
Actually, I lost one bet in that race because as you noticed the (10) was pounded and no bet for me.

Ps: race 10 at Saratoga I had the 1 & 10 as my top two so I followed your advice and bet the 10, 29.20 and 11.60
