Did not realize it was a off track till
Thanks Hoof
I only saw it was an off track at 7 minutes to post So when I scratched the 10 and 11 It was too late to rework Ray Somewhere in the follow up and on the video tapes Doc says sometimes turf horses do well on a wet track. This 1 horse ran up close but faded against Stakes quality and CL 40 turf horses -although as Brohamer says turf claiming prices are inflated It did win its open 25MC and got claimed out of that race so ..... |

I actually won this race (but missed Exacta). Reasons why I played...
Made it to the lead in 21.3 last out (and was only 1/2 length back in a wicked 44.3). There was other E's in this race, but NONE close to this pace. That was first race on Lasix and Blinkers (so I designated him an E type). Also, 1st off claim for Englehart. Won only race he was entered at today's distance, in 1:11.1. I figured if he got out to the 21.3 and even a 45.1 (almost 3/5 slower than last race) in the slop, he would be able to set a lone pace and put away the field. |

Justin, good call!
Bill, your correct should have passed in the slop. Thanks for the analysis. Mike |
