BC Marathon

The best mile times from this race appear to be from Ever Rider 134.6 who raced 1-1-1, London Bridge 134.6 who raced x-x-1 (race notes say it was it lead the entire final furlong, so I'm guessing a little - line 5 notes) and Old Time Hockey 134.6/133.6/132.6 in three recent races. OTH ran in a Grade 2 (Indy Point and Vagabond Shoes) and looks to have prepped against some really stiff competition.

You have to look at all the Euro lines and hope to find races on firm turf in order to get any semblance of how they will race, timewise. I think there is enough, for me anyway. OTH is 8/1!!!!

Change Distance from 14f to 12f - RDSS

Just a reminder - in order to work this 14f race in RDSS, you have to change the distance to 12f - the maximum distance RDSS can accommodate.

On the Card Summary screen, right click on the distance and change it to 12f on the pop-up Change Surface Distance window. The race will regenerate with all calculations projected to a new race distance of 12f.

In this field Blueskiesandrainbows, Commander and EverRider all have won races wire to wire. its hard to tell exactly but it looks like Ever Rider and Blueskies need to go wire to wire. Commander can press and you have to like the 135.0 at Hastings two back, that's 135 on a bull ring. The only time I ever saw similar was a couple of years ago. They shipped the horse from Vancouver to Woodbine and the horse won a graded stake in a rout.

So I am seeing three on or near the lead with Old Time Hockey coming from 4th or so.

My two horses here and in the exacta are Old Time Hockey and Commander.

Good luck to you all,

Marathon

FWIW I believe that in the limited running of the Marathon no horse has won wire to wire.

The horse leading after the first mile has a record of 0-0-1 in 5 tries, finishing 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th and 11th.
