Sure Smitty - the stats block formulas should just adjust themselves to a new amount of rows above that line. My models have hundreds of lines for Win and Place. I insert my block of rows into the next blank row below the last line of data (above the stats block).

If you can't make that work by tinkering, feel free to upload it here and I'll take a look, or email it to me no worries.

Ted

Parx 1/9/18

Here is my daily spreadsheet for Parx
Today i don't have any tote numbers or final odds. The mutual prices
and profit line figures are working , even though super tote is down

Here is a excel file

Parx010918.xls

Some high % rankings were:
Profit line 89% top 4
CR+ 89%
All 3 RX rankings were 89%

Smitty 73:
I too am having that same problem. Like you tried to add more than 20 races to Win or Place tabs, inserted week worth of data above "copy win horse paceline above here" and the formula had calculation errors. Can not figure it out.

I invite you to do the same thing I invited Smitty to do - post here, or email me your Model sheet and the data you're trying to insert, which presumably is in the ALL Tab.

I am not understanding what problem you're having. I do what I can understand from your description and I've got hundreds of inserted Winner lines and correct stats formulas.

Insert

Hi Smity and Telhorse

To help Ted out, I thought I would show you what I do.

When I get near the Make Copies of this sheet block on my win, place and show models, before I get down to the block, usually with about 3 open rows left.
I click on to the first open row . Once I have the row selected I RIGHT click on my mouse. A drop down box appears. I click the option INSERT
This will add another empty row. You can repeat this and add as many rows as you want. a easier way for me is. After you add a new row from the drop down box, You can use the short cut CTRL + Y
If your using Open Office Cal like I do the short cut is [B]CTRL + Shift +Y [/B
]Now if you just keep pushing the short cut. It will add many
more open rows and the Make Copies of this sheet block just moves down every time a new row is added. I currently have 728 Rows on my WPS models using this method.

Adding or inserting rows into Template

Thanks Bill.
I am going to give this a shot tomorrow. Looks like I have to put my Mom into a nursing home, and things are quite hectic now. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Bill,
I think my problem maybe in the software that I am using. I have a Mac laptop running LibreOffice on the Mac side. I do not have Excel on my laptop. I run RDSS 2.1 on my Mac with Parallel Desktop. I was able to add 10 rows with no problem. But when I re-opened the
file all of the color coding (over 63)was gone.

Hi Smitty

My color coding ends after line 43. I am using windows 10 on two different
computers. The color coding ends in line 44.
All additional lines on my models so no more color coding

Bless
