Question concerning RDSS screen captures

Greetings,

In the past I have used both snagit and faststone capture to post my RDSS screen shots. The problem is they always show up very small in my post. My question is what are other members using to post these blown up captures and how do you stop them from blurring if your resizing them.

This definitely something I need to get a handle on, so detailed instructions would be highly appreciated!!

Thanks
Carl

Hi Carl

I use this http://www.xydownload.com/easycapture/ and save as a jpeg file for uploading to Paceandcap

Carl,

Whatever capture tool you use, try capturing only the necessary screen portion of what you want to show, not the whole screen. Then save it as a GIF file. I think you will then find that your image shows up here pretty much the same as the clear ones you see posted.

You could also do a test and save to your computer one of the images you see here. Then open it in an image viewer/editor (e.g. Snagit) and check the horizontal and vertical dimensions. If you make your captures (saved to GIF) the same dimensions as the one you test saved, you should get the same resolution and clarity when you post yours.

Why not try an example here and see how it looks. Folks will give feedback on how to get that working for you.

Ted
