Always looking for this "pattern"

I've been in the zone for a week, so I thought I would post another race. (Next week I might not have anything to post.) This is the setup or "pattern" I'm always looking for.

It's from today's 7th race at MVR.

#9 is a faint-hearted NTL type who will be the early leader but I didn't think she would last. Also, most of the horses use their energy early. And then there's #10 Stormy Justice at 16-1 who likes to run near the pace but uses her energy late. I love those horses!

I checked the "Segments" window and loved Stormy Justice even more.

The Rx screen gave me pause but Stormy Justice was still tied with #9 as the best VDC horse and she was 5th in CSR, a measure of consistency. So, I took the plunge on Stormy Justice with #9 as the "saver" just in case she got loose on the lead. But that didn't happen. Stormy Justice stalked while the field exhausted itself and then she ran by #9 at the top of the stretch and won by opening lengths.

Thanks, Tim. It's been a fun week. I know it won't last but "patterns" have been jumping off the monitor at me.
