Canada - Hockey - Gold!

This makes the return to terrible Canadian weather worthwhile!

Canada wins gold at men's and women's Olympic hockey. Aside from horse-racing, I am not known as a sports fan, but I was biting my nails, cursing and cheering (don't tell...). Congratulations to Canadians for the top gold medal count. And congratulations to Americans for top over all medal count!

Looks like Obama is buying Prime Minister Harper a case of Molsons.

Great games!

Ted

I second that. Even I watched the last part. I see they've just closed Yonge St. in Toronto because of the crowds in the street celebrating.

It was a great game and only fitting that Canada won on their ice.

USA goalie, Ryan Miller, was named MVP. Truly great Olympics for Canada and North America.

Congrats to the neighbors to the North, we had to let you win or else, just kidding, job well done.

One question thou, when we won before how come we got no Gold medal, but the 2nd time you'all win you get a medal, shouldn't there be a 3rd game, kinda a tie breaker, for which you guys can win and then be properly Gold'ed of course

Hi truck

When you won, it was the first game of a round robin with all the other countries. Everybody was playing against everybody else. Canada defeated every other country it played against and when the dust cleared, the only two countries left standing were us and you guys. That's how come the playoff for the gold metal.
