stormbringer,
i am looking at the 3 horse "james ready magic" in this 7th race you posted. his morning line is 7/2. he projects pretty good on thoromation. i hope you do not mind my feedback and wish you the best of luck. i am going to take a small win bet on the 3 and watch the race.

Storm,

I noticed that you had the #2 Que P5p included in your selections.

Here is an observation which appears to be true.

When you have a line that is extracted and it isn't in the first two on BL/BL and isn't 1st or 2nd early it probably should be thrown out.

When you have a line that is projected and it isn't in the first two on BL/BL and it isn't 1st or 2nd late it probably should be thrown out.

In going over some of my records I found only 1 out of 17 that won and it paid $9.

Out of those 17 I would have won 12 had I done so.

That was a tough one
I was just too busy to work the race before hand
I got 1 7 6 on BLBL

The 2 that placed at a great price was there in tier 5
using the second line
a dirt line but with a SUS running style

I see on your readouts
the # 1 and # 2 Decleration horses made for a nice exacta
Thanks for working the race

Storm,

Excuse me, but you boxed 5 horses for the tri, 1, 3, 5, 7and 8. Your top 5 horses on BL/BL were the 5, 7, 6, 8 and 2. How did you get the 1 and the 3 in your tri?

In my previous post about throwing out projected or extracted horses I was referring to win bets.

Storm,

I try to have only contenders on my BL/BL screen and then no more than 4 or 5. But if there is say a seven horse field I might just leave them all on the screen. However it works best for me to narrow the potential winners down to about 4 or 5.

Using your APV/CLASS figures I would have discarded the #6 and then entered the rest into the program. Then I would have taken the top ones on total energy which were the 8, 5, 7, 4, 2 judging from your BL/BL screen

Thats when I can see which ones of the top 4 or 5 on total energy has the best hidden energy with the best turn time with the best factor W with the best total pace potential along with the fractels and the Perceptor screen and therefore the ones that I will invest my Social Security money on.

I find that if I concentrate on just one track, keep records and bet two horses to win I make a profit.

I now stay away from the exactas and trifectas and will continue to do so untill I have a working profile of 2nd and 3rd place horses (which I don't at this time).
Nearly every time I try and bet them I loose and when I don't bet them I see where a $1 Superfecta of several thousand dollars would have hit in the exact order of the BL/BL.

For me right now it is best to stick to what I do best and that is betting two horses to win, and usually one of my two horses is out of the money and the other comes in 1st or 2nd. The trick is to know which one it will be.

This is a business if decisions and judgment.

It is you against the world.

This site (Pace and Cap) is the only place I have found where people will truly help you to succeed and not want something in return.

Some of the old timers here are giants in their knowledge of the game and how to win at it

You however must be willing to have an open mind and study and learn.

My goal is to get good at it and make a nice honest living from being a para-mutual investor and do it right from my own home office.

Good luck
