Game Plan KGEN

Quote:
Bill,

I was hoping you could start me on my way.
Here is a game plan. I suggest you try.
This is race 9 today 10/23 from Luarel
Its 9am here so I don't know scratches or track conditions but lets do the race
ahead of time and see what happens - Win or lose I am sure you will get good
consistant results doing races with this game plan.

Here are some details
Its a 6 furlong race. There are 10 entered.
I have entered 5 contenders from these ten
Pace line /contender selection is not the point lets assume you
only enter true contenders
KGEN and Thromation work best with 4 horses
since I have 5 I need to get rid of somebody
Here are the morning lines for my contenders
H1 - 5/1
H2 - 1.2
H7 - 9/2
H8- 6/1
H10- 12/1

The race is a 5000 claimer 4+ F nw1 - 6 months

Here are the lines. With KGEN you should not use a line with over 9 beaten
lenghts we are ok here

Energy

Next is to check the running styles of the contenders
and see the total energy spread this is important if the two adjust alarm
goes off we need to know who is doing it.

We have a close range of total energy and 1 lone Early horse
with KGEN /thoromation There are no pressers only
E, EP, SP,or S
I see no reason to throw out anybody, I sometimes do have races I will see
a very low total energy or a very high med energy. I either
take the horse out at this point or that I will take note
of. At least we see the lone Early horse
Now move on to the KGraphs

Here are the 6 graphs what i suggest is write down the top 3 of each of these graphs

graphs

Note the top 3 of each of these graphs

The 1, 10, 7 and 2 all appear on the top 3 of all the graphs
The 8 does not .. Also take note, for some reason I had to go 4 back on
horse 8
I want only 4 horses so I will scratch the 8

now

NowI s when the race takes shape

First with only 4 horses KGEN is very perdictive
Run Thoromation first
Hint / when using Dos Box push the F11 key a few times befor you hit enter
This will slow the race down and you can get a better veiw as they
run across the screen

tho

Now visulaize the thoromation screen results

Now select the pre play screens from the main menu

If one of the preplay screens matches the thoromation screen
you have a balanced race and the varigate is very predictive
We have that here, dont we ? The EXDC preplay screen matches the
thromation screen.

If neither the EXDC or SP preplay match thoromation
the race is wide open and you probably have a bad contender in the mix.
I will bet the top 2 finishers
with good odds of 5/1 and 9/2

Hope it works out later but either way I feel its a consistant approach

Great Points

Bill really enjoyed this post. I totally agree with you on putting 4 and no more than 5 horses in Energy/KGEN/THOROMATION programs. You made 2 very good points that could benefit any users of these programs. Your comments BOLDED

Mike

Thanks Mike

Things worked out to some degree . Our top 4 horses ran 1 2 3 4
The 1 just could not catch the lone early favorite #2
Oh by the way who finished last ? The eight at 4/1
I bet the 1 and 7 to win butdid catch a small exacta

Bill,

You really do a great job of laying out a foundation on how to use the various programs.

Thanks

Bill, Nice workup.
Since the EXDC matched Thoromation. Wouldnot the 2 become the counter energy horse?
This not only got the exacta but also the tri in a 3 horse box.
Bye the way thanks as I played both for 1.00 each.
Keep posting and good luck to all.

Thanks
Don't forget the 10 made it for 4th
so we had the Superfecta too .

The EXDC screens shows when the race will run under normal conditions
The SP is when the match up favors the OTE runners or there is strong late
bias at your "home" track

I would guess the 2 was a counter energy and being a lone early
It was a good exact choice
